MANN FRIDAY - |
Band details |
|
Fresh from playing the XFM Outbreak
Festival, Mann Friday is the latest addition to the
Use Your Ears experience and the London based band already
have a big following. We feel it won't be long before
we have some very good news to report.
The band is already topping the unsigned
band charts with 3 number 1's as voted by the public.
They created a huge buzz when they played the Edingburgh
Fringe Festival and have broken the attendance record
at the Riverside Studios in Hammersmith, sold out gigs
at the Halfmoon Putney and a near capacity Saturday
night headline at the Barfly. Add to this their radio
play and feature on Sky News and you know this is a
band to use your ears on.

THE STORYS - |
Band details |
|
The Storys is four singer songwriters
all taking lead vocals on different songs, their sound
is both fragile and intense, underpinned by a dark lyrical
edge. They can turn from tender country-tinged ballad
one minute to an as-wide-as-the-ocean stomp the next
- in the same category as classic harmony vocal bands
such as Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Crosby Stills Nash
& Young and The Beatles, all of whom also had multiple
singers.
The Storys have signed worldwide to Warner Music and
their Korova label will be releasing the next single
"Be By Your Side" on March 13th and the album
on March 27th. The Storys will also be the 'special
guests' on Elton John’s forthcoming 11-date UK stadium
and arena tour!

DAVID SAW |
Band
details |
|
Some singer songwriters have great
lyrics others have great melodies David has them both.
Add to this a look which would be at home on the poster
adorned walls of Stereophonics, Coldplay, Travis fans
and the mix is perfect.
2004 was a year of constant gigging up and down the
country with loads of solo performances both acoustically
and with his band, plus opening support slots for Robert
Cray, Eric Bibb, Ray Davis, Mike & The Mechanics
and Paul Carrack, plus festivals such as WOMAD with
Chris Difford.
